Safe Ministry

Care and protection for everyone

Parish's Safe Ministry Policy

Our commitment to ensuring safety for all.

The Anglican Parish of Enfield and Strathfield is committed to ensuring that Jesus Christ is honoured in all the ways in which we serve one another, our community and neighbours.
The Parish Council has adopted this Safe Ministry Policy, which it last reviewed on 8 February 2026.
The Parish Council recognises Faithfulness in Service as the code for personal behaviour and the practice of pastoral ministry by clergy and church workers in our parish.
The Parish Council adopts the safe ministry best practice guides, safe environment, reporting and appropriate leadership forms and documents of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney available at https://safeministry.training/resources/.
A helpful summary of what our commitment to safe ministry means for parents and participants in our ministries is the Safe Ministry Blueprint for Parents and Church Members.

If you have any questions about any of these matters, please speak to the leader of your congregation, a member of Parish Council or to the Rector/Senior Minister.
